More than 2,000 SMEs based in Andalusia have opted to enter and grow through e-commerce with Amazon.
Only Catalonia and Madrid, with just over 3,000 and 2,700 companies, exceed Andalusia in terms of presence on Amazon, which is at the same level as the Valencian Community, as Andalusia has more than 2,000 companies and 45% of these SMEs that sell on Amazon do so from outside the provinces of Seville and Malaga. These are some of the success stories of Andalusian SMEs present on Amazon.
Nortembio: 95% of company’s sales come from Amazon
Nortembio is a company from El Puerto de Santa María that sells natural products with ecological certification that respect the environment. A year after its founding, it joined Amazon and today 95% of its sales come from its marketplace, says its CEO. The company expects to close this year “with a turnover of 8 million euros and to expand to the United States in 2023 with Amazon,” says Vázquez.
